Having your function at the Camfield?

The Christmas season is upon us! We bet you’ve got questions about your upcoming function - and we’re here to answer them!

Parking

Provided there are events on at Optus Stadium, all the carparks and roads will be open around the venue. Check if there is a major event on at the Stadium on their website. Ride shares will be able to drop you off at either The Camfield carpark or on the East Perth side at the Matagarup Bridge. If there is an Optus Stadium event on and the roads are closed, public transport is available - trains and buses, plus East Perth drop off points are available. From there, it’s a short and lovely walk over the bridge.

Accommodation

Should you want to make a night of it, the Crown is just 1.5km down the road.

entry

Entrance points to the venue are available from most sides. However, during this time of the year some entrances will be blocked off for exclusive functions or capacity reasons. If this is the case, the entrance on the Stadium side of the venue is your best bet.

Location

Before you get to the venue, be sure to check with your organiser where in the venue you should head. If you are in the Beer Garden or in the Hall, that is on the South side of the venue. The Hall is a separate building at the end of the Beer Garden. If you are on the Terraces or in the Main Bar, enter through the Stadium side of the venue, and if you can’t see the sign for your function, just ask one of our friendly staff and they will point you in the right direction.
